Fiber Artist & Textile Conservator
Independent Studio Practice
Kansas City, MO; National — 1981–1999
Studied fabric design, weaving, and sculpture at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Part of a selected group of artists at Marble & Canvas at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Performed museum-quality restoration of handmade rugs from around the world, with specialization in Oriental and Native American textiles.
Trained under and assisted master conservator Shahin Medghalchi, completing high-level restoration for private collections and cultural institutions.

Bentonville Farmers Market & Regional Art Shows — 2014–2018
Designed and hand-painted silk scarves, ties, and functional artworks.
Developed a dedicated collector base through regional shows and the Bentonville Farmers Market.

Taught adults with disabilities across multiple art disciplines including weaving, jewelry making, Shibori/tie-dye, and silk painting.
